Cataract and Cornea
Dr Parker is an eye doctor with international subspecialty training in corneal and cataract surgery, external eye disease management and laser vision correction. His background includes a PhD in the fields of gene therapy and high-risk corneal transplantation from Flinders University of South Australia, and involvement with the Fred Hollows Foundation in central Australia and the Pacific. He has completed a fellowship in corneal and refractive surgery at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.
Dr Parker consults as a general ophthalmologist at Coastwide Eye Surgery. He has a special interest in diseases of the cornea and performs surgery for cataract, Fuchs' dystrophy, pterygium, keratoconus, and tumours of the ocular surface.
